This strand is very unique. It is a block color of neon pink and green giving it a striped design and look. The beads are 15mm diameter and the strand is knotted in a few places, as pictured. This is the way it was made and commonly worn in Africa. The strand itself is very old, it is vintage, but the colors are truly beautiful. Note the block of bright Neon Orange beads in the very top.
This Vintage Vinyl Record Beads is one of a kind and very pretty, also strung in a loop as shown and ready to wear or to be taken apart to make your own very trendy jewelry. Handmade in Africa from Vulcanite, a material used to make vinyl records and popularly known as vinyl record beads or phono beads. They are one of my favorite beads, full of colors and history and known in Mali as Jigida beads, commonly used to shape the women's waist.
