Ahhhh, some of our treasures are not for the faint of heart and this piece is absolutely stunning. This is a unique, one-of-a-kind scrimshaw warthog tusk that has been set in a brass bezel with a base so you can display it with all the beauty it has.
Made by hand, the craftsmanship is superb! The pictures don't give it the justice it deserves. The tusk was legally obtained from a game reserve and there's no illegal gathering of this tusk or any other animal part we offer. The tusk has been cleaned and carved by artists in Zimbabwe, Africa. If you're not familiar with scrimshaw, it is a technique where an artisan carves the surface of a bone or ivory and adds a dye, usually brown or black for contrast.
