Beautiful authentic African porcupine quills featuring naturally bold bands of creamy white, dark brown, and black. Measuring approximately 2–3 inches (5–7.6cm) long, these smaller natural quills are especially versatile for jewelry making, earrings, pendants, necklaces, quillwork, hat adornments, mixed-media art, and creative projects where a compact natural component works beautifully.
Our porcupine quills are naturally shed and ground-collected in Africa by our small partners. When they arrive, they may still carry soil, dust, and natural residue from the environment where they were gathered, so we carefully wash and prepare the quills by hand before offering them in our shop. Because these are genuine natural quills rather than manufactured components, every piece has its own striping, curvature, thickness, taper, markings, and character.
